We have another minor trade at the deadline.

Another small trade at the deadline.

We have our second trade of the day and much like the first one it is a very minor deal, and frankly it's only notable because of the total lack of action we have had thus far today.

The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that they have come to terms on a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks. From the Hurricanes official announcement:

Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has acquired defenseman Dennis Robertson from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for goaltender Drew MacIntyre.

As we stated this is a very minor deal, and may not even have an impact on the post-season unless Chicago's depth is seriously tested during their run.
