We now know exactly what Craig Berube said during fiery timeout in last night's game
Lettin' the expletives fly!
In case you missed it last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs managed a 6-2 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Kings.
The Leafs came out of the gate hot and managed to take a 5-0 lead in the game before easing off the accelerator and allowing the Kings back into the game with two straight tallies. That's when head coach Craig Berube determined it was time to start flexing his muscles a bit.
After the Kings' second consecutive goal Berube took a 30 second timeout and completely lambasted his players for their lack of effort. Thanks to some lip reading from Leafs Twitter user TicTacTOmar, we now know exactly what Berube said to his squad.
Check it out:
I've got to say, that's quite a change from what we've seen on the Leafs' bench in the past few seasons. Frankly, I'm curious to see if this new fire and brimstone approach ignites something in this Leafs team.
