Late last month, it was Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark becoming the first B's net minder to score a goal, and the first to do so in the NHL since Nashville's Pekka Rinne in early 2020.
And now, we've got yet another goalie goal, this one courtesy of a young Russian who has his eyes on a long NHL career. Chicago Wolves goalie Pyotr Kochetkov, who has already strutted his stuff at the big league level with the Carolina Hurricanes this season before being sent back to their American Hockey League affiliate, accomplished the feat tonight at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg against the host Manitoba Moose:
