When will Oliver Kylington crack the Flames lineup?
He is a very good prospect but they have a crowded blue line?
HockeyFeed
One could make the argument that the Calgary Flames have one of the best blue lines in the NHL. Giordano, Hamilton, Hamonic, Stone, Brodie and Kulak is a pretty dominant core. We can't forget about some of the d-man prospects that the Flames also have in their back pocket. One of those prospects is a 20 year old Swedish player who already has over three years of pro hockey under his belt.
Oliver Kylington who at one point was seen as a top 5 NHL draft prospect before an injury has potential to make the Calgary Flames soon. The big question is when is soon? Kylington has displayed his impressive size and skill in the AHL last year and was also decent at the World Juniors. Despite his success development wise, the crowded blue line that the Flames have established might delay his NHL full season debut.
