Two goalies go crazy during a USHL game over the weekend.

There are very few things in the sport of hockey that can get fans as excited as a showdown between a pair of goaltenders and this past weekend was no exception.

On Saturday night during a game between the Sioux City Musketeers and the Green Bay Gamblers we were treated to a very rare goalie fight, and a pretty darn good one at that.

The best part of this one is that it involved two very willing combatants who met up at center ice with their helmets, gloves and blockers off before they began throwing bombs at one another. The two men involved were Leo Henriquez of the Green Bay Gamblers who is just 18 years old and Ryder Shea of the Sioux City Musketeers who is just 19 years old.

It was a pretty back and forth affair early on but eventually Henriquez would get the better of Shea after a series of heavy right hands connected and forced Shea to crumble to the ice. Although Shea came out the loser of this one, he showed tremendous class in defeat by extending his hand to Henriquez and embracing him for a brief moment in a great show of respect between the two combatants.
