Marc Andre Fleury pushes Talbot out of Minnesota!

This just in, according to multiple sources the Minnesota Wild have traded goaltender Cam Talbot to the Ottawa Senators.
Check it out:
There had been rumors that Talbot was not happy when the Wild acquired goaltender Marc Andre Fleury at the trade deadline and was in fact disappointed to have lost his starter's role with the team despite performing well during the regular season. After Fleury signed a two year extension with the Wild last week there were reports that Talbot had formally requested a trade to get a better opportunity elsewhere. And now with Matt Murray out of the picture in Ottawa, Talbot should get a clean slate and a full opportunity to become the Senator's uncontested starter.
UPDATE: It's official, the Senators have acquired Talbot in exchange for goaltender Filip Gustavsson in a one for one trade.
Check it out:
"Cam is experienced and provides us with greater goaltending stability heading into next season," said Senators general manager Pierre Dorion in a prepared statement. "He was instrumental in helping Minnesota reach the playoffs in each of his two seasons with the Wild. The tandem of he and Anton Forsberg sets us up nicely for the upcoming year."
Talbot is signed for one more season at a $3.6 million cap hit and put up a stellar 2.76 GAA and .911 save percentage in 49 games with the Wild last season. As for Gustavsson, he's signed for just $787,000 this upcoming season and put up a sub-par 3.55 GAA and .892 save percentage in 18 games for the Sens last season.
