The Wild may have lost 4-1 last night but there are some things bigger than hockey in this world. Tonight was proof of that as three heartbroken women stood in front of a packed house at Xcel Energy Center. Back in July of this year Mendota Heights police officer Scott Patrick was shot and killed in the line of duty. It hit the community hard as you can see in this tweet from Bouxiong:   Members of his family and the community honored his life seen here from Pioneer Press: Last night the Minnesota Wild showed true class and held a beautiful tribute to him and his family. Officer Patrick's girls got to open the game for the Wild who unfortunately couldn't pick up the win. You can see the whole thing here courtesy of nhl.com.
