The Minnesota Wild have lost one of their defensemen for several weeks.

A report from Mike Russo of the Star Tribune has revealed that 26-year-old Christian Folin will miss at least the next three weeks after being shoved from behind into the boards on Sunday night. While the injury initially appeared to be to Folin's leg as his skate appeared to get caught causing his leg to buckle, Russo states that is not the case.

From the Star Tribune:

Minnesota Wild defenseman Christian Folin will miss a minimum of three weeks due to an upper-body injury suffered in last night’s 3-1 win against San Jose. Folin had an MRI on Monday after appearing to suffer a serious injury to his right arm or wrist. He'd lost his footing chasing a dump-in against the Sharks and crashed into the end wall after a push by Kevin Labanc.

Here's a look at a replay of the incident.
