A big blow to their already faint playoff hopes.
The fading playoff hopes for the Minnesota Wild just took a considerable blow. Forward Marcus Foligno has undergone core surgery and will be missing the remainder of the season. However, he's expected to be ready to participate in training camp in the fall.
In the 55 games that he's played this season, Foligno has scored 10 goals with 12 assists. He's signed through 2027, having agreed to a four year, $16 million deal before this season.
