Will Butcher officially announces when he will make his decision.

The saga surrounding Hobey Baker award winner Will Butcher is finally coming to an end, although fans will have to wait just a few more days to hear the official announcement. 

While there have been a number of rumors surrounding Butcher and his future, specifically as it pertains to the National Hockey League, on Thursday we got an official comment from Butcher himself.

"I will be making my decision on Sunday with my family and my agent there with me," Butcher said in an email to NHL.com on Thursday.

Interestingly, despite the fact that rumors have suggested Butcher's choice was down to just three teams, the agent for Butcher, Brian Bartlett, revealed that as many as four teams remained in the mix.

Of course Bartlett did not comment on the nature of those teams, it's believed that the Buffalo Sabres, Las Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche all remain in the mix, although those are purely rumors at this point. 

The good news is we don't have to wait much longer before we get the answer.
