Will the 19-year-old prospect make the cut?

Although there is much doubt that 19-year-old forward Alexandre Fortin will be able to clinch a spot on the team’s roster for the 2016-2017 NHL regular season, he has left a remarkable impression on the fans and coaching staff.

Making his way from an undrafted rookie to a Chicago Blackhawks player with a chance at cracking the lineup for the upcoming season is an amazing feat to accomplish.  Also the fact that forwards such as Vincent Hinostroza and Ryan Hartman have not been very impressive this preseason makes Fortin even more indispensable. Nobody cannot predict what Joel Quenneville and his staff will decide but it is not outside the realm of possibilities.

Coach Q has his eye on him and said he was intrigued after the remarkable breakaway goal Fortin scored during Sunday night's matchup against the Detroit Red Wings.
