UPDATE: According to NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, Nylander missed Team Sweden's practice today for maintenance. However, Swedish head coach Sam Hallam wouldn't confirm Nylander's status for his team's tournament opener on Wednesday.

This just in, Team Sweden has arrived in Milano, Italy for the 2026 Winter Olympics and have hit the ice for practice, but conspicuously absent from their roster is Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander.
Nylander, who has been battling ailments all season long, sat out today's practice with a presumed injury.
