William Nylander's status for Game 3 announced

The Leafs forward has missed the first two games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs so far.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are back on home ice tonight, looking to take a two games to one lead over their historic rival Boston Bruins as the two teams reconvene for Game 3 of their Round 1 Stanley Cup Playoff series.

However, just as it was in the first two games at Boston's TD Garden, the Leafs will be without the services of forward William Nylander tonight.

Dealing with an undisclosed injury after having appeared in all 82 regular season games, the Swedish forward will have to wait until at least Game 4 to make his 2024 postseason debut.
