Wings make last-minute surprising scratch vs. Columbus!

The Detroit Red Wings take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at Little Caesars Arena, and there's been an eye-opening scratch on the part of the home team! 

Contrary to what the official Twitter account of the Red Wings released early this morning, forward Justin Abdelkader has been scratched for tonight's contest. The former Michigan State Spartan has played in 20 games in the 2019-20 campaign, scoring no goals to go with three assists. He was also absent for a lengthy period of time rehabbing an injury.
