Len Kropioski is known by Jets fans as Kroppy. He is a 97 year old war veteran who has been a season ticket holder ever since the Jets moved back to where they belong. He is often shown on the big screen during the national anthem and at other moments during home games.

He was unfortunately hospitalized during February and hasn't been at the games as often. The Jets had Kroppy back for their home game on Wednesday night and they decided to welcome him back in the best way. Every night at Jets home games they have a fan vs. fan faceoff, On Wednesday, both fans were Kroppy just from different angles. When the fans saw him, they gave him a standing ovation that lasted over a minute. Len was brought to tears by the respect and love he was shown.

Way to go Jets fans and great move by the Jets organization for such a great gesture and sign of respect for someone who put his life on the line for all of us.
