With tonight's win, Hawks reach historic milestone.

The Blackhawks are revving up in preparation to the Playoffs. It seems like only 3 or 4 teams are credibly geared for the biggest honor this year and the Hawks sit right on top of the pyramid. 

With tonight's 3-1 win against the tough Blue Jackets, coach Quenneville's crew reached the 50 wins milestone. Interestingly, it's only the second time it happens in the long Chicago franchise history. Some spoke about a true renaissance in Chicago, and it's obviously right. 

With that being said, a lot of good things are happening with Toews and the gang. The Bread Man is on fire, Patrick Kane just hit 850 points in his career, Marian Hossa reached the 34th rank in the NHL goal scoring history and the overall moral is exemplar. Except for the 7-0 smack in the face against the Panthers last Saturday, the teams is always competitive on the ice and, more importantly, is improving steadily. 

If you have a good 5 bucks to bet on a Cup winner for this year, the Hawks are one of the safest bet.
