Despite the headline of this article it's been a pretty impressive start for Louis Domingue in Arizona and he has filled in admirably for Mike Smith through his first 18 games.
However Domingue has been the victim of a rather unique circumstance after allowing Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown to score on him from center ice in his first game following the All-Star break. Domingue allowed a similar goal in his final game prior to the all-Star break, and likely used the break to push it out of his mind.
In defense of Domingue, this shot from Brown had a life of it's own, and it took a wicked bounce and made a drastic turn right in front of the Arizona goalie, who was clearly frustrated at his bad luck.
