Youth coach has his finger ripped off trying to climb onto bench (video)

Just when you think you've seen it all in this sport...

Check out this absolutely wild and gruesome video of a youth hockey coach in the Boston area having his finger literally popped off his hand when trying to climb into his team's bench.

Warning, the video is gruesome and I literally gasped when I watched it myself:

Oh... my... God!

The way his finger literally just flew off his hand I'm going to guess that his wedding ring got caught on the glass. I've always heard of this sort of thing happening, but this is still absolutely shocking to me. Just... wow...

If you didn't catch it on the first watch, the incident happens at about the 4:48 mark on the scoreboard, just before you see the coach frantically running behind the bench. Again, absolutely shocking.
