So again... what happened?

The Oilers just stormed the Vegas defensive zone for the majority of the 3rd period and, as a result, they earn themselves a tidy victory in Game 1.

Edmonton Oilers superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have tied things up in Vegas this evening.

With the Oilers down 2-1 early on in period three of Game 1 against the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs this evening, McDavid and Draisaitl hooked up on a truly bizarre play.

McDavid made a nice pass to Evan Bouchard who released a bomb on net, Vegas goaltender Adin Hill made a nice save but the rebound bounced out to Draisaitl who made a crazy bank shot off of Hill.

Check it out:

If that were anyone else I'd say it was luck. But the fact that it's Draisaitl tells me it was legit. 2-2 game. Let's go!
