Zdeno Chara calls out Bruins teammate for his “awful” farts.

The National Hockey League's season has taken a sudden an unexpected hiatus and although that means that we have seen much less of our favorite players out on the ice than we would have liked to, it has also resulted in us seeing a lot more of those players off of the ice than we normally would as well. Players from around the National Hockey League have participated in more and more interviews and online group chats than I can ever remember seeing in such a condensed period of time and we have seen quite a few comical moments during those productions as a result. 

In a recent video put together by the National Hockey League we got to see a bunch of those moments in a short series of clips from a bunch of these types of interviews in recent weeks, with the league also adding its own set of labels to the situation. The league's social media department gave several players titles for their respective traits or behavior during these sessions that featured a wide variety of players Like Kevin Hayes and Chris Kreider of the New York Rangers, Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Patrick Marleau of the San Jose Sharks, Zach Parise of the Minnesota Wild, Mark Giordano of the Calgary Flames, Mathew Barzal of the New York Islanders, Blake Wheeler of the Winnipeg Jets, Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks and many many more.

The highlight of the video for me however came right at the end of the clip, and if I had to guess this was placed at the end of the video quite deliberately. In the final clip of the video Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara can be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the screen while conversing with Toronto Maple Leafs captain John Tavares, Detroit Red Wings star Dylan Larkin, and Ottawa Senators star Brady Tkachuk, and it is during that conversation that he exposes one of his teammates. I must admit I did not see the original clip live so I don't know what question Chara was answering, but I do know he tossed Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask right under the bus.

"I have to say Tuukka Rask... the way he farts (Chara pauses to laugh), the smell is awful," says the Bruins big man.

It may be the kid in me, but I couldn't help but laugh right along with Chara.
