According to a report from Ken Campbell of The Hockey News, longtime Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara has signed with the Washington Capitals.

Suffice it to say that if this is true though... wow... just... WOW!

Last week Chara's agent Matt Keator announced that the 43 year old Chara had no shortage of options available to him in free agency, telling NHL insider Pierre LeBrun that more than 20 teams reached out to him to talk about a potential fit, but that Chara was focused on negotiating with the Bruins. Evidently the Big Man couldn't come to terms with Bruins GM Don Sweeney and as a result, he's heading to the Nation's Capital. 2020 has been a wild ride, man...
