Zdeno Chara pulled from Bruins’ lineup just before game

What’s going on with Big Z?

The Boston Bruins came up with a quick solution on Thursday night right before taking on visiting Winnipeg Jets.

Captain Zdeno Chara was nowhere to be found during his team’s warmups. While defenseman Torey Krug appeared to make a return as he took part in warmups, Chara was ruled out for the game just minutes before puck drop.

It is believed that Chara might be having issues with the jaw procedure he underwent on Dec. 23.

As you may know, Chara was involved in a fight with Nashville Predators’ Yakov Trenin on Tuesday and was hit by a huge right on the face.

It could have resulted in some injury or make things a bit tougher for the veteran blue liner in his recovery.
