With a chance to bring it home!
In case you missed it last night, the Toronto Blue Jays managed to gain a 3-2 series lead over the Los Angeles Dodges in Game 5 of the World Series.
Lead off homers from Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. set the tone for the Jays out of the gate, in a game where they never trailed on the scoreboard. 22 year old rookie Trey Yesavage was an absolute wrecking ball, earning 12 strikeouts on the evening and striking out each Dodgers' player at least once. He put together the performance of a lifetime and now it's up to 34 year old ace Kevin Gausman in Game 6.
Jays manager John Schneider announced that Gausman will be the team's starter in Game 6 and he'll be the man tasked with adding another title to the team's trophy case. Incidentally, photographers caught this incredible moment of Gausman checking out the Jays' two World Series trophies prior to his start in Game 2 of the World Series last weekend.

How prophetic is that?
Gausman will be going up against a familiar foe as Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Gausman's opposing pitcher in Game 2, takes the mound for the Dodgers in Game 6.
