4 goal third period lifts Hawks past Sabres (VIDEO)

The Chicago Blackhawks dealt with the Buffalo Sabres in convincing fashion last night after scoring four straight goals in the third period. The Blackhawks prevailed 6-2. The Hawks started the game by scoring two goals in the first 3 minutes of play, only to have the Sabres tie the game in the very same period. The Sabres goaltender Jhonas Enroth kept Buffalo in the game stopping numerous scoring chances in the second period, keeping the game at a 2-2 tie. The Hawks then exploded for 4 straight goals in the third period, burying Buffalo. Six different Blackhawks scored goals and Corey Crawford stopped 21 of 23 shots for the victory.
