An absolutely bone crunching hit leaves one man out on the ice.

There was an absolutely bone crunching hit in the SM-Liiga this week.

The Pelicans forward Antti Tyrväinen wasn't messing around, and he absolutely laid out defenseman Joonas Lehtivuorta of HPK Hameenlinna but he wasn't done there.

Tyrväinen was instantly challenged after the hit, although that may have been a massive mistake as Tyrväinen seemed more than willing to accept that challenge, something the opposing player quickly realized as he turtled up in fear and avoiding any potential of a fight. Although he did suddenly get brave when the officials showed up.
