Another fantastic hit leads to a fight. Is it time for this to stop? (VIDEO)

There's been a disturbing trend in hockey over recent years, one that will often see a player land a clean hit, and then immediately find himself either swarmed by the opposing team, or challenged to a fight. The most recent example of this is Shawn Horcoff of the Dallas Stars hit on Patrick Sharp of the Chicago Blackhawks. Horcoff landed a beautifully timed hit on Sharp who was shaken up for a few moments, and for whatever reason after he got back up the two men dropped their gloves and threw down. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing more exciting then a good fight, and this was certainly a good one, but why? The last thing we want to see is players refraining from throwing thunderous body checks because they feel like they will be forced into a fight for it.
