Another potential injury for the Kings (Video)

It wasn't all good news after the Kings win tonight. Alec Martinez got hammered by Cedric Paquette behind the Kings net after he cleared the puck around the boards. You can see in the replay that Martinez's head snaps back and forth and his head even makes contact with the glass. It was wasn't a dirty hit, it was should on shoulder but Paquette is a big boy and Martinez didn't seem to expect such a big hit or else he might have braced himself a bit more. Kings insider Jon Rosen reported on twitter that the severity of the injury is not yet known and he will continue to be looked at. Let's hope it isn't too bad. The Kings really can't afford a defenseman to go down.
