Fans in Calgary are clearly not happy that the NHL hasn't even taken a look at a nasty hit on their star player. Johnny Gaudreau, a player many feel will be one of the nominees for this year's Calder Trophy, was the victim of a nasty hit from Anaheim Duck Nate Thomspon on Thursday night. While the officials did call a penalty on the play there has been no indication that the NHL intends to review the hit. This is just another example of the inconsistent rulings from the NHL's Department of Player Safety and considering it happened to a star play like Johnny Gaudreau it's rather surprising. You can review the hit in the video below, and vote in our poll to let us know if you feel it warranted a suspension. [poll id="19"]
