Babcock "The team that was supposed to win... did." What Babcock was refering to wasn't the fact that the Montreal Canadiens were a better team, rather it was his way of questioning if not flat out challenging the effort his players put on the ice last night in an embarrassing 4-1 loss. Howard was soundly outplayed by the Canadiens back up Dustin Tokarski, at point Howard had allowed 4 goals on just 16 shots. It wasn't just Jimmy Howard though, the entire team looked sluggish and Mike Babcock let it be known he was unhappy with the fact tha tthey were forced to give the team a rest yesterday following a heavy travel schedule. Something tells me the Red Wings don't have many rest days to look forward to after this performance.
