Beauty in OT wins it for the Flames (Video)

The Calgary Flames are on a hot streak! Pun intended. Even with all the injuries they have they have won the last 3 games and have scored 4 or more goals in each game. Their defense has been a big reason. Their D have chipped in regularly and have provided the offensive spark the Flames have needed. They use an umbrella power play an have 3 defenseman on the top of the umbrella looking to shoot. Captain Mark Giordano and TJ Brodie are currently tied for the league lead in points for defensemen with 13 a piece in 14 games. Not something you see everyday. Dennis Wideman is 6th in scoring for defensemen with 9 points in 14 games. The fact the Flames D has produced so much mixed in with rookies stepping up with goals at big moments in games has lead Calgary to an impressive 8-4-2 start which I am sure no one thought would be possible, but the Flames are proving many a people wrong these days!
