Big hip check injures Ducks star player (Video)

Keith Ballard wasn't going to let Corey Perry get past him. Ballard cut Perry off with a low hip check. Since Perry is taller than Ballard, Ballard caught Perry in the left knee as Perry tried to get by and it looks like his knee hyper extends before he goes down. It wasn't a dirty hit but the damage was done. Perry had to be helped off the ice and you could see he was in lots of pain. Ballard ended up fighting Nate Thompson later in the second period.
