Big open ice hit by Marco Scandella (Video)

Marco Scandella has never been one to shy away from playing the body, and tonight, he did just that. He leveled Jacob Josefson with a clean shoulder on chest hit that sent Josefson to the ice. However, Scandella was given a 2 minute penalty for interference. The puck had just past Scandella when he made contact with Josefson so the ref deemed it interference. Years ago this would have been a great hit with no penalty, but now with the stiffer rules, a solid, clean hit becomes interference. Funny how hits to the head lately aren't even called but this was, go figure. Here is the hit, you let us know if it was worth 2 minutes or not.
