The date was Oct.12, 2009. The Calgary Flames were in town to play our Hawks. Unfortunately it quickly became a nightmare for the Blackhawks as the Flames scored 5 goals in the first period. The game seemed out of reach after less than twenty minutes played. And then the improbable happened. A Jon Madden goal put some life into the Hawks as they deficit was cut to four. Eight minutes into the second Patrick Kane roofed a beautiful shot to the top corner making it a three goal game. Goals from Dustin Byfuglien and Dave Bolland cut the lead to only a goal. A shot from the point from Duncan Keith tied the game at 15:25 of the third. And Brent Seabrook finished off the Flames in overtime to complete the greatest comeback in Blackhawks history. Six unanswered goals, what a game. Here are the highlights from that game. Enjoy!
