Wow!
Tyler Motte is making a name for himself in Chicago.
The Hawks rookie has 3 goals and 2 assists in his first 10 games and his last goal was a thing of beauty. He used his speed to go wide on Flames defenseman TJ Brodie before kicking the puck from his right skate to his stick as he then put it around Brian Elliott for the goal. It was a great goal. It brought back memories of when Pavel Bure did his skate to stick goal. I am sure Pavel would say Motte's goal was a nice 2.0 version of his goal.
With how much talent there is on the Hawks roster, it's nice to see one of the kids stepping up with some beautiful goals as well. It will be interesting to see what Motte will come up with next as an encore.
