BOOM! Mike Green hits Kyle Clifford into the bench! (VIDEO)

The Washington Capitals handed the Los Angeles Kings a vicious beating this evening, but no one got it quite as bad as Kings' forward Kyle Clifford. With his team down 4-0 Clifford was skating down the ice parallel to the Washington Capitals bench when Capitals defenseman Mike Green showed up to put a big hit on him and knock him into enemy territory. Clifford was then pushed and shoved by Capitals players until he was able to make his way back over the bench and onto the ice. You can see the hit here courtesy of the NHL.
