Brad Marchand might get a call from the league for diving on this play.

Brad Marchand is known as a bit of a pest, and to be fair he does a great job of it as far as his team is concerned. However he may have pushed the boundaries of the NHL rules on Friday when he embellished quite a bit on a trip from the New Jersey Devil's Eric Gelinas. The play worst of all happened in overtime, and while it did look like Gelinas' stick may have caught Marchand on the leg, the soccer like dive that followed was completely unnecessary. This stuff will pass in some sports, but this is hockey.
