For the second time in as many nights we have a goalie injured after being hit by a player.
This time it was Florida Panthers goaltender James Reimer going down after being hit in the head by Toronto Maple Leafs veteran forward Brian Boyle. Reimer looked rocked on the play and lay motionless for several seconds before responding to trainers and his teammates.
In defense of Boyle, it did look like he was trying to make a play on the puck, and Reimer's head was sticking well off to the side of his net when he took the hit, but nonetheless officials deemed the play worthy of a penalty.
Here's the impact.
