Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand has shown himself to be one of the very best players in the National Hockey League this season but he hasn't lost his nasty streak.
On Tuesday night the notorious pest once again crossed the line when he delivered an ugly spear to the groin are of Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Jake Dotchin. The Lightning defender was left writhing in pain on the ice and consider where he was hit it's not hard to empathize.
While Marchand was initially sent to the box, the officials quickly came back to let him know he was being ejected before escorting him off the ice. Here's a look at the spear from Marchand.
