Breaking: Canucks announce a roster move

The Vancouver Canucks re-assign defenseman Philip Holm to the Utica Comets (AHL), the team announced on Friday. The 25-year old Swedish defenseman hasn't play a game in the NHL yet this season.

The Canucks signed him as an undrafted free agent in May. In his first season in North America, Holm registered 10 points in 15 games so far with the Comets.

The Vancouver Canucks are playing against the New Jersey Devils tonight. They will try to win their third consecutive game.
