In what is starting to feel like a bad joke, the Flyers have lost yet another goalie to injury. This time according to general manager Ron Hextall Flyer's back up Ray Emery has suffered an injury in practice and is expected to miss at least the next couple of days. Fortunately for the Flyers they have been getting solid goaltending from call up Rob Zepp who was originally called up to back up Emery, but has since taken the #1 spot in the absence of Steve Mason. Mason is expected to return this week, but has yet to be medically cleared, something that is expected to happen tomorrow. However despite the clearance for Mason, Hextall expects Zepp to make the start Thursday against the Maple Leafs, with Mason as his back up. Mason will likely get the start on Saturday.
