The Habs will have to make due without their leading scorer for at least a little while longer. Max Pacioretty, who was already ruled out of the Habs Thursday night game against the Detroit Red Wings, has now been ruled out of Montreal's Saturday game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Saturday game marks the Canadiens final regular season game of the season, and there hasn't been any word on whether or not Pacioretty will be back for the start of the playoffs. Pacioretty was injured when he fell awkwardly into the boards during a game against the Florida Panthers, and while the Habs have only describe the injury as an upper-body injury, it is believed the damage was done to his head/neck area. Fans will remember the infamous incident with Zdeno Chara that led to a broken neck for Pacioretty, so it's no surprise the Canadiens are being extra cautious with this current injury. If you missed the incident against Florida that caused the injury you can see it in the video below.
