(Breaking News) Full health update on Keith Ballard, news is not good.

The Minnesota Wild have updated the status of Keith Ballard following the hit he took at the hands of New York Islanders player Matt Martin. From the Wild:

"Ballard was released from Regions Hospital today." "He suffered multiple facial fractures, a concussion and is out indefinitely."

As if that wasn't bad enough TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger believes that Ballard is so badly injured he may require surgery, but doctors won't know until some of the swelling from his injuries has subsided. Dreger reported the news via twitter just moments ago.
