P.K. Subban continues to dominate the headlines today, and now it appears the NHL has made a decision  regarding  the slashing incident that occurred on Wednesday night during the Montreal vs. Ottawa series. According to a report from hockey insider Pierre Lebrun, the National Hockey League will not be issuing any further discipline against Subban for his slash on Mark Stone. Lebrun spoke to head of NHL Player Safety Stephan Quintal who confirmed the league felt the penalty last night, a 5 minute major, was enough. This comes right off the heels of a report that Ottawa Senators Head Coach Dave Cameron issued a threat to the league and to Montreal regarding Subban. Cameron stated that if the league did not discipline Subban, they would take matters into their own hands, and take out one of Montreal's star players. You can see Cameron's comments in an earlier report which can be found here. Montreal players may now find themselves with targets on their backs for the rest of the series. Has the NHL made the right call in this situation? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
