Breaking: Penguins forward can't stand after blocking huge shot from Subban.

This looks so painful.

This is very bad news for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

While it's too early to tell how seriously Penguins veteran Nick Bonino was injured on this play, the mere fact that it took 5 or more people to help him off the ice is a disastrous sign for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Bonino sacrificed himself in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs when he stepped in front of Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban to block a shot from the point. Unfortunately for Bonino the shot caught him right on the ankle, a spot where there is very little protection, and it looked like it hurt him real bad.

He was unable to put any weight on his leg at all, and given how tough a character he is under normal circumstances, this one looks like it good be very serious indeed.
