Breaking: Tom Wilson drops Joe Thornton with a huge punch!

Washington Capitals enforcer Tom Wilson was looking to find some justice for injured teammate T.J. Oshie and it looks like he found it. 

In case you missed it San Jose Sharks veteran forward Joe Thornton delivered a huge hit to the head of Oshie on Monday night, knocking him out on the ice where he stayed motionless for several moments. 

While you could certainly argue that Oshie falling to his knees just prior to the hit was responsible for the point of impact, the Capitals clearly did not agree and Wilson went was out for blood. 

To Thornton's credit he immediately dropped the gloves with Wilson, and even landed the first punch of the exchange, but it wasn't long before a Wilson haymaker came over the top and drop Thornton flat on his backside.
