Brief but bloody fight leaves Wilson a mess tonight.

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson certainly didn't come out the better on this one.

After Minnesota Wild star forward Zach Parise was the victim of a high-stick on Tuesday night, Wilson was challenged by tough veteran Chris Stewart to drop the gloves, and Wilson answered the call.

It wasn't a very long or exciting fight, but it was notable because at the end of the whole affair Wilson came up looking like some guy who belonged in a horror film rather than an NHL game. 

It's unclear how exactly Wilson took the damage, but it looked ugly.
