The Bruins didn't waste time to take the lead against the Penguins. The B's scored 2 goals in 28 seconds to go ahead 2-1. On the first goal, Carl Soderberg made a great spin-o-rama pass to Loui Eriksson who then drew both defensemen to him before sliding the puck over to Milan Lucic who shot the puck into a wide open net. The Eriksson-Soderberg-Lucic line was very good tonight against the Pens. They even had a goal disallowed on what was a close play. It was said Soderberg knocked the puck into the net with his glove, it did, but hit off of Lucic as well before going into the net. The second goal was scored by Joe Morrow, his first NHL goal.
