Captain vs captain in one of the best fights of the year! (VIDEO)

Hockey fights, especially good ones, are becoming more and more rare these days. Last night featured not only a great battle on the ice, but something even rarer happened, the captains of both the Winnipeg Jets and the Colorado Avalanche dropped the gloves with one another. About midway through the second period the two men dropped the gloved just seconds after the puck was dropped, I'll let you decide who won the fight, but Avalanche head coach Patrick Roy went on to say that he believed the fight sparked the teams 4-3 win. Roy Spoke to the Denver Post following the game:

“I said to the guys after the period, ‘Let’s respond to that. We have to respond,' and we never gave up. We were resilient. We competed.”
