Chris Chelios regrets one thing.

Let's face it. There is still some bad blood between Blackhawks fans and former Blackhawks great Chris Chelios. Chelios was a former captain of the Hawks and is a Chicago native. Chelios left the Blackhawks to join the rival Detroit Red Wings and eventually won 2 cups with them. In all Chelios won 3 Stanley Cups, 3 Norris trophies and he was also inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame last year. He played an incredible 27 years and accomplished much, but Chelios still has regrets. One of them from his time with the Blackhawks. Chelios said: The only regret is not winning the Cup as a player with the Blackhawks. That would've been too perfect or too good to be true in a career that ended like mine did. But, it's not easy. At least I get to enjoy watching them win the Cup. I went to the parade. And as a Chicago Blackhawks fan growing up, to see what it's done over the last 10 years for the youth hockey and for the city, there's no loyaler fan than a Chicago Blackhawks fan. He was a truly incredible player and despite the differences between Chelios and some resentful fans, he truly loves the Blackhawks. Maybe it's time the rift is mended between the two.
