Chris Kreider appears to hit Cody Eakin over the head with his own helmet!

The cameras seemed to miss this initially, but the slow motion replay from a different angle certainly makes this look like an ugly play.

On Tuesday night the Dallas Stars faced off against the New York Rangers, and as tensions rose it what was a fairly intense contest between the two sides, Cody Eakin and Chris Kreider mutually decided that they were gonna scrap.

The fight itself turned out to be one of the more uneventful tilts of the season with the exception of one moment. Kreider took Eakins helmet off in the fight, and while it's easy to miss it in the initial video, the gif below it seems to show the angle where Kreider struck Eakin in the head with his own helmet.
